“While vigorously looking for meaning, I decided to create my own”
After exiting my 10-year-old startup, I began searching for meaning in my life. This coincided with the 44-day war in Armenia, and I felt a strong urge to help my homeland, but I didn't know how. Soon I realized that there were many others who also wanted to help, but had limited tools to do so. I knew that I could come up with a solution that would systematically solve this problem, and I was determined to make a difference.
By creating IMAST (Armenian for "meaning"), I aim to unite all Armenians, give them tools to help, create a large community of donors, and shift paradigms.

What is IMAST?
IMAST is the 1st charity app in Armenia. The name stands for “meaning” in Armenian. It’s a user-friendly and transparent tool for vetted Armenian non-profit organizations to launch fundraisers and reach new donors worldwide.

Yes, IMAST is a non-profit organization. We stand behind our mission and operate without generating income from app activities. Your donations go directly to the causes you care about.
What’s the big idea behind IMAST?
IMAST was created to become a unifying trustworthy platform for all impactful projects in Armenia and enable easy support in just 3 clicks. Our goal is to have 100,000 monthly donors to provide systemic help to Armenia. That is why it’s important to become a recurring donor at any amount.
What is the main mission of IMAST?
We aim to unite Armenians globally around meaningful causes. Imagine a community where micro-donations become a standard, fueling countless positive projects together.
In which countries does it operate?
IMAST has no boundaries. Everyone can access the app from anywhere.
Are there any commission fees?
The collected funds are sent to the officially registered bank accounts of the partner non-profit organization. To ensure transparency, each project includes financial documents detailing project costs, Stripe payment system fees, and a marketing budget to promote the project.
As a non-profit organization, we do not charge partner non-profit organizations for any operations and we do not make money from your donations. You can leave voluntary tips and help us cover the operation fees, including the development of the mobile application.

Contribution and Transparency
How can I contribute?
Here are several ways to help: download the app and become a monthly donor, or donate to the project of your heart. Also, IMAST offers a wide range of sponsorship packages. Become an IMAST friend, partner, or ambassador to support us build our global community and contribute to developing the giving culture.
How are non-profit organizations verified?
Non-profit organizations undergo rigorous legal and financial screening by an independent third party. After this review, each organization receives a risk rating: safe, low-risk, moderate-risk, or high-risk. IMAST uses these ratings to determine whether or not to collaborate with an organization. Organizations that do not meet IMAST's screening criteria receive detailed feedback and can reapply once they have addressed the concerns. You can learn more here.
How do non-profit organizations present impact reports?
After each fundraising campaign, participating organizations are obligated to submit impact reports. These reports, available on the app, detail the campaign's achievements through both news stories and financial documents. Each donor is notified about these updates through emails and notifications.

- Select a fundraiser and tap the "Donate" button on the one you wish to support
- Enter the donation amount and tap "Send."
Donating to an Organization:
- Navigate to the "Nonprofits" tab
- Choose an organization with a single tap.
- Tap "Support us"
- Enter the donation amount and tap "Send."
- Consider recurring donations: If you wish to become a monthly donor, activate the "Help monthly" option.
How can I cancel a monthly subscription?
- Navigate to the "Profile" tab
- Under your profile options, find and tap "My subscriptions" and unsubscribe
What payment methods are available?
Donate using your preferred credit card of any currency - we accept all types.
Are there any payment limits?
You're free to donate any amount between $10 and $100,000, or its equivalent in any currency, to support the causes you care about.
